Grade 7-8 Return to School/Orientation

Welcome back!

Students must come to school with a signed COVID-19 Daily Checklist form.  It can be accessed here.

For additional details on return to school, please review the back-to-school letter.

Key points regarding Orientation dates:

  1. Students are to be at school and in assigned seat no later than 7:55 a.m.
  2. Students will be in Dress Code if available.  (If clothing has not arrived, no worries, slack, blouse, collared shirt, shoes will be fine.  No jeans, flip flops, sandals, etc.)
  3. Students will have temperatures taken upon arrival.  Those students registering 100 degrees or more will be directed to the Guardian Angel (Isolation) room awaiting immediate parent pick up.
  4. Students are to have their completed COVID-19 Daily checklist.  Students not having checklist, refer to item #3.
  5. Parents/Guardians are not permitted to enter building and accompany student(s).
  6. Use of student lockers is prohibited until further notice.
  7. Students should only have a pad and pen.
  8. Students will receive orientation information as well as meet selected faculty/staff personnel. 
  9. Students will receive their course schedules
  10. They will then resume their daily schedule for the date of orientation.
  11. Students will have a scheduled lunch period.  Note:  No microwaves are available for the heating of food. 
  12. Students are permitted one water bottle to keep on their person throughout the day.
  13. Dismissal is 2:40 p.m.  THERE ARE NO AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES! Parents picking up their youngster are to be available at 2:40 p.m.
  14. Students will depart through same route they entered the building.
  15. Chromebooks and textbooks will be assigned next week.
  16. Those students who are receiving Remote Instruction will be able to pick up their schedules after 12:00 p.m on the day of designated orientation.
  17. Those students who are receiving Remote Instruction will be able to pick up their Chromebook and assigned Textbooks upon notification next week.
  18. The School Nurse will be available to assist with all prescribed medications and special information.
