ND NJROTC Cadets Earn 4th Consecutive Distinguished Unit Award

The Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) Area Four Manager made the announcement that Notre Dame NJROTC has earned the title as a Distinguished Unit with Academic Honors school for the 4th consecutive year.  Having the "Academic Honors" title presents Notre Dame High School to all the service academies and allows us to write six nominations to the Naval Academy and three to both the US Military Academy at West Point and Air Force Academy bypassing the congressional nomination requirement. Not to mention - it adds additional "muscle" for our cadets in leadership who choose to apply for national ROTC scholarships.

The unit was led, this year, by C/LCDR Emily Kupiec who will be attending St. Johns University in the fall.
