About the Jr. & Sr. High School
Notre Dame Junior/Senior High School (grades 6-12) is committed to nurturing the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of each student. As the region’s only Catholic secondary school, we offer an inclusive and faith-centered environment built on trust, respect, active listening, and truth.
About Our Program
Our mission is to nurture each student’s unique gifts and guide them toward their fullest potential—intellectually, morally, creatively, and spiritually. Communication skills, moral values, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving are central to our approach.
Daily religion classes, prayer services, and liturgies underscore our commitment to faith and development, while campus ministry and service initiatives connect Gospel values to meaningful community action.
Curriculum
Core Academic Program
A liberal arts foundation consistent with New York State and diocesan requirements, emphasizing English, history, theology, mathematics, science and foreign languages
Advanced Offerings
Students may pursue dual-credit courses, AP options, and bridge programs with Utica University, empowering them to shape their academic paths.Career and technical pathways: Upperclassmen can blend their high school coursework with career-focused classes via BOCES partnerships (Oneida/Herkimer/Madison BOCE).
Leadership & Character Development
Grades 8-12 may engage in the Navy-sponsored NJROTC program, building leadership, discipline, and respect.
